After a long wait Motorola have finally announced the new MOTO G which will launch in January 2014. Motorola, a Google owned company, have announced that Moto G will be available through company’s website with no contract, no SIM lock for $179 which INR 11, 270 approx for 8 GB model, where as, the 16GB model will be available for $199 which is INR 12,500 approx.
Motorola Moto G will be available in Brazil from next week whereas it will be launched in US and other countries in January next year. It will be available in a dual SIM variant also.
“Today, we’re introducing Moto G, a smartphone that delivers a premium experience for a third of the price of current high-end phones.” said MR. Dennis Woodside, Motorola’s CEO.
The feaures includes sharpest 4.5 inch HD display and resolution of 1280 x 720 with quad-core speed. it will run on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS with a guaranteed upgrade to Android 4.4 KitKat. It will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with 1.2 GHz quad-core CPU.
Motorola Moto G will be a 129.9 mm in height and will be 65.9 mm wide. Its Weight will be 143 grams. There will be a 2070 mAh battery. it will be launched with 5 MP camera and 1.3 MP front LED flash camera.
Other features includes Micro USB connectivity, 720p HD video capture and playback, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, GLONASS.
It will be available in black color only.
