Huawei has just got the approval to sell the newest phone Huawei GR5 and another unannounced smartphone Huawei ECO in US as both the devices has got the FCC approval in the US. The Huawei GR5 was recently announced along with the Huawei GR3 smartphone and both the smartphones were listed on official Huawei website with all specifications and images of both the devices.
As the Huawei GR5 is FCC approved, we can also expect that the Huawei GR3 will also be approved by FCC soon and both will be available for sale in the United States in the upcoming days. The Huawei ECO smartphone is also a new phone but we don’t have any information or any leaks available for this device as of now.
The FCC documents for the Huawei GR5 comes with the device images (internal/external) and the device is tested for various functions in the FCC documents. It comes with the model number Huawei KII-L33 in the FCC documents. Huawei GR5 is the mid-range device that was listed on the official website with specifications like a 5.5-inch FHD display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 MSM8939 Octa-core (4×1.5GHz+4×1.2GHz) processor paired with 2GB of RAM. It comes with 16GB of inbuilt storage and the expandable storage is not listed in the listing. It runs on the Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box with Emotion UI 3.1 on top.
Huawei GR5 features a 13-megapixel AF rear camera with a 5-megapixel front facing camera. A good 3000mAh battery powered this device and it comes with connectivity options like GPS, AGPS, Glonass, Bluetooth 4.1,WI-FI 402.11b/g/n, 2.4G, 2G, 3G and 4G. It comes with Gold, Silver and Gray color options. It measures 151.3mm x 76.3mm x 8.15mm and weights 158gms. The device also comes with a fingerprint sensor available on the rear side of the phone.
The Huawei ECO smartphone FCC documents also comes with internal and external images of the device with some tests of the device. It comes with model number Huawei LUA-L03 but the FCC documents doesn’t have any specs details of the phone. The device comes with 4G LTE, Bluetooth, 3G, 2G, USB etc connectivity options. Apart from these no other details are available in the FCC documents. So we have to wait for the official announcement from Huawei for more details about the device.
