AmanSamsung India today announced that it will announce a new smartphone on 31st of March and its still a mystery what phone the company will announce in this event. Samsung’s new flagships are already out in the for of Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge in the MWC last month and what will be the new phone the company will launch? We are just three days away from the event date and everyone in India will be excited to know which phone it will be on 31st March?
The new event is tagged #TapKickVroom and the company has launched a new microsite on their domain with title TapKickVroom. No one knows what is #TapKickVroom and the company has also started a contest for this. Just guess what #TapKickVroom is and 3 lucky winners can win the phone that will be launched on 31st March. The contest is already on from 26th March and will close on 30th March. Terms and conditions for the contest are available here and interested users can tweet their guesses to @SamungMobileIN to enter the contest until March 30, 6pm. Samsung has also posted a video on their social media accounts that hints towards a biking related VR headset along with a new smartphone. Its not confirmed but we can expect that the company will launch the 2016 variant of the Galaxy J5 smartphone along with a smart VR headset with biking related features.
For your info Samsung has already launched the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge at MWC last month. The Galaxy S7 comes with a 5.1-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED always-on pressure sensitive display with 2560×1440 pixels resolution, a Quad-Core Snapdragon 820 processor / Octa-Core Exynos 8 Octa 8890 (2.3GHz Quad + 1.6GHz Quad) processor, 4GB LPDDR4 RAM, 32/64GB internal storage capacity with expandable storage up to 200GB with microSD card slot, Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, a 12-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash, f/1.7 aperture and Smart OIS and also comes with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with f/1.7 aperture, a 3000mAh battery with fast charging feature with wired and wireless (WPC and PMA) charging, connectivity options like 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS with GLONASS, USB 2.0 and NFC.
The Galaxy S7 Edge has similar features but with some upgrades over Galaxy S7 features like a 5.5-inch Quad HD 534 PPI Super AMOLED always-on curved edge display with 2560×1440 pixels resolution, quad-core Snapdragon 820 processor or Octa-Core Exynos 8 Octa 8890 (2.3GHz Quad + 1.6GHz Quad) processor, 4GB LPDDR4 RAM, 32/64GB internal storage variants and expandable storage slot also available with up to 200GB microSD storage, Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, a 12-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash, f/1.7 aperture and Smart OIS. It also has the 5-megapixel front-facing camera with f/1.7 aperture, a 3000mAh battery with fast charging feature with wired and wireless (WPC and PMA) charging, connectivity options like 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS with GLONASS, USB 2.0 and NFC.
