Samsung announces Galaxy J5 (2016) and Galaxy J7 (2016)

Samsung has officially announced the 2016 variants of the Galaxy J series devices called as the Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016) and Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016). Both the devices are listed on the official Samsung China website with full details and images. Both the smartphones are available in Gold, White and Pink color options, however, the company has not revealed any pricing and availability details both eh devices. The global availability details are also not yet revealed by the company and looks like both these devices will be available in China first.

Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016)

The Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016) comes with features like a 5.2-inch HD Super AMOLED display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and is powered by a 1.2GHz Quad-Core 64-bit Snapdragon 410 processor with Adreno 306 GPU and 2GB of RAM. It comes with 16GB internal storage capacity with expandable storage up to 128GB with microSD card slot. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box and supports Dual SIM.

It features a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and f/1.9 aperture and also comes with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash and 120-degree wide-angle lens. It comes with a large 3100mAh battery and connectivity options like 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and NFC. It measures 145.8 x 72.3 x 8.1mm and weights 159 grams.

The Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) comes with features like a 5.5-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and is powered by a 1.6GHz Octa-Core Exynos 7870 processor with 3GB RAM and 16GB internal storage capacity with expandable storage up to 128GB with microSD card. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box and supports Dual SIM. It features a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and f/1.9 aperture and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash and 120-degree wide-angle lens.

It comes with a 3300mAh battery and measures 151.7 x 76 x 7.8mm with weight 170 grams. Connectivity options available are 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and NFC.
