Samsung has finally announced its much awaited upgraded variant of the Galaxy A9 smartphone with name Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro and comes with model number SM-A9100 and is listed for sale officially on Tmall in China. It is priced at 3499 yuan (around $539) in China. The company has not shared any availability details of this phablet for China as well for its global release. This phablet will be available in White, Gold and Rose Gold color options. This phablet comes with top-end specifications and is the flagship device in the company’s Galaxy A series.
The Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro (SM-A9100) has already got approval from FCC and TENAA in China and has been leaked a number of times online. It also made its appearance in GFXBench database with all key specifications. After getting approval from US FCC and TENAA, the fans were expecting already the device launch sooner or later and finally the company launched it in the home country China.
Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro is launched with a large 6-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display with 2.5D curved glass and 1920×1080 pixels resolution and is powered by the octa-core Snapdragon 652 processor with Adreno 510 GPU. It comes with 4GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage with expandable storage up to 128GB via microSD card slot. It runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS out of the box and comes with Dual SIM support.
It features a 16-megapixel rear camera with OIS, f/1.9 aperture and an LED flash and it also comes with 8-megapixel front camera and f/1.9 aperture. It is backed up by the large 5000mAh battery that comes with fast charging feature. It has a fingerprint sensor available on the home button. Connectivity options includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v 4.1, ANT+ and NFC.
The company also announced the latest 2016 smartphones in the Galaxy J series called Galaxy J5 (2016) and Galaxy J7 (2016). The Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016) comes with features like a 5.2-inch HD Super AMOLED display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution, a 1.2GHz Quad-Core 64-bit Snapdragon 410 processor with Adreno 306 GPU, 2GB of RAM, 16GB internal storage, expandable storage up to 128GB with microSD card slot, Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and f/1.9 aperture and also comes with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash and 120-degree wide-angle lens, a large 3100mAh battery, connectivity options like 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and NFC. It measures 145.8 x 72.3 x 8.1mm and weights 159 grams.
The Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) comes with features like a 5.5-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, a 1.6GHz Octa-Core Exynos 7870 processor, 3GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, expandable storage up to 128GB with microSD card, Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and f/1.9 aperture and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash and 120-degree wide-angle lens, a 3300mAh battery, measures 151.7 x 76 x 7.8mm with weight 170 grams. Connectivity options available are 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and NFC.
