AmanSamsung Galaxy J3 2016 is going to be available on US carrier AT&T and the US carrier has also revealed the pricing and availability details of the device. According to the AT&T announcement, The Galaxy J3 2016 smartphone will be available starting May 6 on AT&T for $5.67 per month payable over 30 months through AT&T’s Next 24 installment plan. It will be available in white color option only via the carrier site. The new Galaxy J3 2016 comes with good hardware and software specifications and beats a number of top smartphones.
Galaxy J3 2016 is available already via Virgin and Boost Mobile carriers in the US. Samsung Galaxy J3 2016 comes with a 5-inch HD Super Amoled display with 720×1280 pixels resolution and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor in the US. It comes with 1.5GB of RAM and 16 GB inbuilt storage capacity expandable up to 128 GB via microSD card slot. It runs on the Android 5.1 (Lollipop) OS out of the box.
The Galaxy J3 2016 features a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It is backed up by a 2600 mAh battery that can deliver up to 22 hours of talk time. Connectivity options includes 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, NFC and USB OTG. It measures 142.3 x 71x 7.9mm and weights 138 grams.
Samsung also announced the Galaxy J3 2016 in India where it comes with a unique S Bike mode. With S Bike Mode, riders can concentrate on their riding without worrying about checking notifications on their phones or answering phone calls. It is a kind of “Do Not Disturb feature” that prevents unwanted distractions while you ride bike. The feature is enabled by using the NFC tag. It helps the bike riders to facilitate calls while riding. It can even play messages informing that the owner is riding a bike and can’t answer at the moment. The motion lock feature ensures that you are completely stationery while you halt to take an important call listed in the urgent call filter.
It is launched in India with some hardware difference. It is launched with a 5-inch HD Super AMOLED display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution, the 1.5 GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC9830 64-bit processor with Mali-400 GPU, 1.5GB of RAM and 8GB internal storage that is further expandable up to 128GB with microSD card, Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, an 8-megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED Flash, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, a 2600mAh battery and connectivity options includes 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, NFC and USB OTG, It measures 142.3 x 71x 7.9mm and weights 138 grams and is available in Black, White and Gold color option.
