Looks like the smartphone maker ASUS is working on the new Zenfone series devices called the ASUS ZenFone 3 and ASUS ZenFone 3 Deluxe. Both will be the successors to the Asus ZenFone 2 that was launched last year with decent specs and design which was praised by the fans around the world. The ASUS Zenfone 3 has already got the TENAA certification in the past revealing most of its specs and leaking the images of the device. Now new renders of the upcoming ASUS ZenFone 3 and ASUS ZenFone 3 Deluxe have surfaced online. Let’s check out the rumored specs and the new renders.
Reddot 21 has also confirmed that the ASUS ZenFone 3 will have a 2.5D glass finish on both the front and the back panels with a metal frame. The available short description of the device confirms that there will be a square shape rear camera with a dual-tone LED flash and laser autofocus. There is also a LG styled button on the back that may be the fingerprint scanner. The device will feature the USB Type C port and there will be a new Smart Flip Cover for this phone with advanced fluorescent material leveraging the brightness of the screen.
The ASUS ZenFone 3 Deluxe renders page shows a different device then the ASUS ZenFone 3. The fingerprint scanner button available on the back of the Zenfone 3 is now available in the front physical home button below the display. The render page confirms that the ZenFone 3 Deluxe will have a full metal body but no other details have been listed on the renders page of the ZenFone 3 Deluxe. We have to wait for the official confirmation before thinking these to be the real renders of both the phones.
The Asus Zenfone 3 was spotted on TENAA with model number ASUS_Z00EDB and specs like a 5-inch 720p IPS display with 1280×720 pixel resolution. It is powered by the quad-core 1.2GHz processor with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage and microSD storage expansion up to 32GB. The device features an 8-megapixel rear camera with a dual-tone LED flash and a 5-megapixel front facing camera as well. It runs on the Android 5.0.2 OS out of the box. It measures 143.7×71.5×10.66 mm and weights 145 grams.
