Looks like, Motorola is working on a new flagship device in the Moto X series that is expected to release sometime in June or July in the official Motorola event. The leakster HelloMotoHK has shared an alleged leaked image of the next generation Motorola Moto X flagship that comes with a ‘batwing’ ‘M’ logo in the upper left corner and that logo confirms that it is the prototype device of next generation Moto X flagship. The leaked image of the new device also confirms that it will have a fingerprint scanner available on the home button below display.
The leaked image also confirms that there will be no front dual speakers in this new device. It may be having the USB Type-C port at the bottom but we are not able to confirm the same from the blurry leaked image. A white dot is also available on the upper right corner that looks like a front facing camera with an LED flash just like the current Moto X Pure Edition. The phone is playing a movie in the leaked screenshot but that doesn’t gives any clue of the display of this device.
The leaked device may be the device that was spotted on Zauba listing imported to India for testing purposes with the name Motorola Moto X3. It was listed with a 5-inch display and price INR 6,812 which is around $103 according to current exchange rates. Two new Lenovo devices with model numbers Lenovo XT1700 and Lenovo XT1706 were also found benchmarked on GFXBench with 5-inch display too.
The Lenovo XT1700 and Lenovo XT1706 GFXBench listings confirmed previously that both comes with a 5-inch HD display with 1280 x 720 pixel resolution and will be powered by a quad core 988MHz MediaTek MT6735P (Cortex A53 – ARMv8) processor with ARM Mali-T720 GPU and 2GB of RAM with 16GB of inbuilt storage. It runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box.
Both the new Moto variants features a 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front facing camera with the devices supporting single sim option. Connectivity options includes WiFi, NFC, Bluetooth and USB and no other details have been revealed in the GFXBench listing of both the devices. Let’s wait for more leaks and rumors of both these devices to get more information on the specs of both the devices.
