A new high-end smartphone from Philips with name Philips S653H has just got the approval from the Chienese regulatory TENAA. This device is expected to be the new flagship from Philips and as its approved by TENAA, we can expect an imminent launch of this phone soon. This device has a full metal body and a rounded fingerprint scanner is also placed on the back of the phone. The battery capacity is low as compared to its display and other features but there may be changes in the configuration at the time of its launch.
The Philips S653H TENAA listing comes with a 5.5-inch IPS full HD display with 1920 × 1080 pixel resolution and is powered by the 2.0GHz octa-core processor which is expected to be the Mediatek Helio X10. It has 3GB of RAM and 32GB inbuilt storage capacity with MicroSD card expandable storage up to 128GB. It runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box and supports FM Radio also.
It features an 8-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash and an 8-megapixel camera on the front panel as well. The rear camera is capable of capturing 720p videos. It is backed up by the 2550 mAh battery and measures 153.5 × 74.3 × 6.95 mm with 150 grams weight. Color options includes Gold and rose gold. It supports 4G LTE, 3G, Bluetooth, USB and other standard connectivity options.
Last month, another smartphone from Philips with entry-level specs got the TENAA approval. It was listed with a 5-inch TFT display with 800 × 480 pixel resolution and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor. It has just 1GB of RAM and 8GB inbuilt storage capacity with 32GB expandable storage MicroSD slot. It runs on the Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box and features a 2-megapixel rear and a VGA 0.3-megapixel front facing camera.
It comes with TD-LTE 2600 (B38) / 2300 (B40) / 1900 (B39) MHz, TD-SCDMA 2000 (B34) / 1900 (B39) MHz, GSM 1800/900 MHz networks confirming that this device will support 4G LTE networks. It measures 141.5 × 69.8 × 8.8 mm and weights 135 grams. It comes with black color option only. The battery capacity is not listed in the TENAA listing so we have to wait for further leaks of this device to have more specs details in hand. This device is expected to be launched by the China Mobile carrier in China.
