Philips X818 spotted on GFXBench with MediaTek MT6755 and 3GB of RAM

Philips is expanding its smartphone range with new devices with high-end specifications. They did when they got the approval for a high-end device Philips S653H from Chienese regulatory TENAA. The Philips S653H comes with a fingerprint scanner and has all the features a flagship needs to have. We will discuss about it later, for now, let’s talk about the latest news we have got. A new smartphone with name Philips X818 have been spotted on the GFXBench database with good high-range specifications and a Mediatek processor.

The GFXbench listing for the Philips X818 shows that this upcoming new phone will have a 4.6-inch Full HD display with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution and will be powered by the octa-core 1.9GHz MediaTek MT6755 (Cortex A53 – ARMv8) processor along with the ARM Mali-T860 GPU. THis smartphone comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB inbuilt storage capacity as well. This new device runs on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box as per the GFXBench listing.

The Philips X818 features a 16-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash, auto focus, face detection features along with an 8-megapixel front facing camera. This device supports single SIM and comes with features like Bluetooth, GPS, USB, WiFi and a number of sensors. No other details about its unannounced device are currently listed in the GFXBench database. So we have to wait for an official announcement from the company in the upcoming days for full details.

A couple of days ago, a high-end smartphone with name Philips S653H was spotted on the TENAA listing with features like a 5.5-inch IPS full HD display with 1920 × 1080 pixel resolution and is powered by the 2.0GHz octa-core processor which is expected to be the Mediatek Helio X10. It has 3GB of RAM and 32GB inbuilt storage capacity with MicroSD card expandable storage up to 128GB. It runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box and supports FM Radio also.

It features an 8-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash and an 8-megapixel camera on the front panel as well. The rear camera is capable of capturing 720p videos. It is backed up by the 2550 mAh battery and measures 153.5 × 74.3 × 6.95 mm with 150 grams weight. Color options includes Gold and rose gold. It supports 4G LTE, 3G, Bluetooth, USB and other standard connectivity options.
