Lenovo’s subsidiary, ZUK has today announced a new high-end smartphone ZUK Z2 Pro. The ZUK Z2 Pro is priced at 2699 yuan (around $416) for the 6GB RAM variant having 128GB inbuilt storage, while the 4GB RAM and 64GB inbuilt storage variant price is not announced yet by the company. The 6GB RAM variant will be available for sale starting April 22nd from the official ZUK store in China and the 4GB RAM variant will be available from May 10th in China.
ZUK Z2 Pro comes with a 5.2-inch full HD Super AMOLED 2.5D curved glass display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, 500nits brightness, 100,000: 1 dynamic contrast ratio and 100% NTSC color gamut.
It is powered by the 2.15 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 820 processor with Adreno 530 GPU and runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow based ZUI 2.0. It comes with two variants, one with 4GB LPPDR4 RAM and 64GB internal storage and second one having 6GB LPPDR4 RAM and 128GB internal storage. Dual SIM support is available too.
It features a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED Flash, 1.34μm pixel size, f/1.8 aperture, ISOCELL sensor and Hybrid PDAF and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera is available with 1.4μm pixel size and f/2.0 aperture.
It is backed up by a 3100 mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 feature.The device features a 3D floating glass design and a metal frame.
Connectivity options includes 4G LTE with VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4/5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and USB 3.1 Type-C. The device also features a U-Touch 2.0 fingerprint scanner on the home button that can unlock the phone in just 0.1 seconds. it also comes with a heart rate sensor, UV sensor and an altimeter.
