Samsung is soon going to unveil the new Galaxy Tab S3 8.0 tablet as this tablet has got the TENAA approval today revealing all of its specifications and images. The tablet comes with the model number SM-T719C on the TENAA listing. The Galaxy Tab S3 8.0 will be the successor to the Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 tablet that was launched last year.
Few days back, two tablets with model numbers SM-T719 and SM-T813 were spotted imported to India via Zauba and according to the rumors, the SM-T719 model number was for the Galaxy Tab S3 8.0 and the model number SM-T813 was meant for the Galaxy Tab S3 9.7.
The TENAA listing for the Galaxy Tab S3 8.0 tablet wioth model number SM-T719C comes with a 8-inch AMOLED display with 2048 × 1536 pixel resolution and is powered by the 1.8GHz octa-core processor that will be the Snapdragon 652 processor. It comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB inbuilt storage capacity with up to 128GB expandable MicroSD card storage. It runs on the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box.
It features a 8-megapixel rear and a 2-megapixel front facing camera. A large 4000 mAh battery powers the tablet and connectivity options includes 4G LTE, 3G, GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi, USB and other standard connectivity options. It measures 198.6 × 134.8 × 5.6 mm and weights 272 grams. The tablet is listed in White color option.
To recall, the Galaxy Tab S3 8.0 was launched with a 8.0-inch QXGA Super AMOLED display with 2048×1536 pixel resolution and was powered by the Octa-Core Exynos 5433 (1.9 GHz + 1.3 GHz) processor with Mali T760MP6 GPU and 3GB LPDDR3 RAM with 32GB / 64GB internal storage options and microSD card expandable storage up to 128 GB. It was having the 8-megapixel rear camera and a 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera. A fingerprint scanner was also available with a 4,000mAh battery. Connectivity options were 4G LTE/3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4GHz/5GHz) MIMO, Wi-Fi Direct, GPS, GLONASS.
