Instead of launching the flagship HTC 10, HTC has launched the HTC One M9 Prime Camera Edition in Europe today continuing with old HTC One M9 series. The smartphone is also listed on official HTC German website with full details. It will be available on contract at EUR 22.70 per month for 24 months in the country. It comes with all-metal unibody design and comes with downgraded specs from the original HTC One M9.
The HTC One M9 Prime Camera Edition comes with a 5-inch full-HD display with 1080×1920 pixels resolution which is same as the HTC One M9. It is powered by the 2.2GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 processor instead of the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor.
It comes with 2GB of RAM instead of the 3GB RAM and has 16GB of inbuilt storage capacity with microSD card expandable storage up to 2TB. It runs on the runs Android 5.0 Lollipop with Sense 7 UI on top.
It features a 13-megapixel rear camera with OIS, dual-LED flash and 4K video recording features and also comes with a 4-UltraPixel front facing camera. It is backed up by the 2840 mAh battery and connectivity options includes Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, NFC, Glonass, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, GPRS/ EDGE, 3G and 4G LTE. It measures 144.6 x 69.7 x 9.61 mm and weighs 158 grams.
