The 4th generation Motorola Moto X got leaked a number of times previously in a leaked image and on GeekBench revealing the key specifications of this unannounced device. Two new HD renders from the 4th Gen Moto X has now surfaced online giving us the clear view of the device. A new real image of the device also got leaked on Twitter by eveaks. Motorola is olding an event on May 17th in India where the company is expected to announce the new Motorola 4th Gen devices in the Moto G lineup but the company may also announce the 4th generation Moto X in this event.
The internet leakster @evleaks has shared a new real rear side image of the Moto X 4th Gen on his Twitter account that comes with a new camera having the camera lens and LED flash and text “moto” in between the both. There is a big ‘M’ logo below the camera and a big speaker at the bottom. Two new renders (via Motorola Moto) of the device also got leaked, out of which, one comes with Verizon and Droid logo that hints towards a new Droid series device for Verizon. The rends renders also confirms the fingerprint scanner available on the home button of the device. The renders matches with the leaked image shared by Evleaks that we discussed above already.
The new Motorola Moto X 4th Gen or Moto X 2016 was recently spotted at GeekBench with some specs listed. This new device scored 2309 points in the single core test and 5344 points in the multi-core test. It was listed with a 1.59 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor with 4GB of RAM. It runs on the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS out of the box. No other details were listed in the GeekBench listing, so we have to wait for the TENAA or GFXBench listing for more details.
Motorola is also expected to launch the 4th gen Moto G devices in the official event rumored to be called as Moto G 4th Gen and Moto G4 Plus. The 4th Gen Moto G was spotted at Zauba and a German website also shared the rumored specs of both the Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus. The Moto G (4th Gen) is rumored to come with a 5.5-inch full HD display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, Corning Gorilla glass protection, 1.2GHz Octa-Core 64-bit Snapdragon 430 (MSM8937) processor, Adreno 505 GPU, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, microSD card slot for expandable storage, Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS, Dual SIM support, a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, Laser AF and 1080p video recording, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera having the OmniVision OV5693 sensor, a 3000mAh battery, connectivity options includes 4G LTE / 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and NFC, water resistant, a 3.5mm audio jack and FM Radio.
The Moto G4 Plus is expected to have almost similar specifications like the Moto G4 with some upgradations like upgraded 3GB of RAM, 16-megapixel rear camera instead of 13-megapixel and will have a fingerprint scanner as well. Other features of the Moto G4 Plus will be same as Moto G4.
