Sony has accidentally leaked the images of the upcoming Sony Xperia “E” series device called the Sony Xperia E5 today on their Facebook and Twitter pages before pulling them down. Both the phones comes in black and white color options in the leaked images and we can also expect a dual SIM variant to launch along with it. The Xperia E device has already made its appearance on GFXBench where it was listed with the Sony F3216 name along with Sony F3311. Sony F3216 was listed at GFXBench specs like a 4.6-inch full HD display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and is powered by the octa-core 1.9GHz MediaTek (MT6755) Helio P10 (Cortex A53 – ARMv8) processor with ARM Mali-T860 GPU and 2GB of RAM. It has 16GB of inbuilt storage capacity and runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box. It features a 21-megapixel rear LED flash camera and a 16-megapixel front facing camera as well. It comes with 4G LTE, WiFi 820.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS connectivity options.
Another device with name Sony F3311 was spotted with a 4.6-inch HD display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and is powered by the 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor with Mali-T720 GPU and 1.5GB of RAM. It comes with 16GB internal storage capacity that may be expandable via microSD card. It runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box. It features a 13-megapixel rear camera with FHD video recording and LED Flash. It also comes with a 5-megapixel front facing camera. Connectivity options includes 4G LTE, WiFi 820.11 b/g/n , Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS.
So we can now expect two variants of the Xperia E5 to launch soon. As the company has leaked the official images the launch date of both these devices is expected to be revealed soon by the company, So let’s wait for some official announcement. Stay tuned.
