LG today announced its new device in the LG Stylus series called the LG Stylus 2 Plus in Taiwan. It comes with NT$ 10,900 (around $334) price for the 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage variant and will be launched in Asia, South America, Europe and North America in the coming weeks. It will be available in comes in Titan, Gold and Brown color options. This device also features a fingerprint sensor on the rear side.
LG Stylus 2 Plus comes with a 5.7-inch Full HD IPS Quantum display with 1920 × 1080 pixels resolutions and is powered by a 1.4 GHz octa-core Snapdragon 430 processor with Adreno 505 GPU. It has two variants: 2GB RAM + 16GB internal storage and 3GB RAM + 32GB storage, both also comes with microSD card expandable storage slot. It runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) OS out of the box.
It features a 13-megapixel or 16-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel or 8-megapixel front cameras that varies by region. A 3000mAh removable battery is available and connectivity options includes 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. It measures 155 x 79.6 x 7.4mm and weights 146 grams.
It also comes with a stylus pen tat comes with a nano-coated tip for better accuracy. A Pen Pop feature is also added to the device that toggles a pop-up menu when the stylus is removed. The Pop-up menu offers shortcuts to Pop Memo and Pop Scanner options. “The Stylus 2 Plus carries over the nano-coated stylus which provides the tactile feedback of a quality fountain pen when writing on the screen. Using the stylus is made even more useful with UX features such as Quick Memo and Off Memo and Pen Keeper, which displays a warning when the stylus strays too far from the phone, or vice versa.”
