Oppo A59 announced with 5.5-inch display, 3GB of RAM and 3075 mAh battery

Oppo has announced the successor to the OPPO A53 that was launched last year in China today with the name Oppo A59 that comes with good mid-range specifications. The Oppo A59 was spotted listed at TENAA last month with name Oppo A59m and was listed with full specifications and images giving us the hints about this device. It comes with full metal body and also has a fingerprint scanner on the rear side.

The Oppo A59 is priced at RMB 1799 (around $274) in China and will be available in gold and Rose gold color options. The device is up for pre-orders in China and will be available for sale starting 18th June. Let’s check out the official specs of this device. It is available with a 5.5-inch IPS HD LCD display with 720 x 1280 pixel resolution and is powered by a 1.5GHz 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor with Mali T860 dual GPU. It comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB inbuilt storage capacity with up to 128GB expandable storage MicroSD card slot. It runs on the Android 5.1 Lollipop based company’s ColorOS 3.0 OS.

It features a 13-megapixel rear camera with PDAF, LED flash and full HD recording. it also houses a 5-megapixel front facing camera with HD recording feature. It supports dual SIM and is backed up by a 3075 mAh battery. Connectivity options includes 4G+, 4G LTE with VoLTE support, 3G, 2G, WiFi 802.11 a / b / g / n (2.4GHz and 5.xGHz Dual-Band), OTG, Micro USB, 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/A-GPS and FM Radio support as well.
