Asus launched the new Asus Zenfone 3 series devices in an official event last month. Asus launched three devices Zenfone 3, Zenfone 3 Deluxe and Zenfone 3 Ultra in the flagship series. The company is teasing the new Zenfone Pegasus 3 that will be the successor to the Zenfone Pegasus 2 launched last year.
The official teaser posted by the company on their weibo account comes with the name of the device and the launch event date of today. The device will be unveiled today. The TENAA listing for the Zenfone Pegasus 3 (ASUS X008) comes with a 5.2-inch TFT HD display with 720 × 1280 pixel resolution. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor and has two variants, one with 2GB RAM + 16GB inbuilt storage capacity and the other with 3GB of RAM + 32GB inbuilt storage capacity. The device also supports expandable MicroSD card support up to 32GB.
This device runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box and is also expected to support Dual SIM. It features a 13-megapixel rear LED flash camera with a 5-megapixel front facing camera. It is powered by a large 4000mAh battery and connectivity options includes 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, USB, Bluetooth, GPS and other options. It measures 149.5 × 73.7 × 8.55 mm and weights 158.4 grams. Color options includes Ice cast silver, gray rock, rose gold and luxurious gold.
