Motorola announced the Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus last month in India and announced the availability and pricing for the Moto G4 Plus only. The Lenovo owned company has now launched the Moto G4 also in India for Rs. 12499 (around $185) and will be exclusively on Amazon India from today’s midnight in black and white color options. The Moto G4 comes with similar specs like the Moto G4 Plus but it doesn’t have the fingerprint scanner and comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera without laser autofocus.
The Moto G4 comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD display with Corning Gorilla glass 3 protection and 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and is powered by the Octa-Core Snapdragon 617 (4 x 1.5GHz + 4 x 1.2GHz) processor with Adreno 405 GPU. It comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage with expandable storage up to 128GB with microSD card. It supports Dual SIM and runs on the Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) OS out of the box.
It features a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, f/2.2 aperture and 1080p video recording with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with OmniVision OV5693 sensor and 84-degree wide-angle lens. It is backed up by a 3000mAh battery with turbo charging feature and connectivity options includes 4G LTE with VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack and FM Radio support.
The company has recently started teasing the Moto G4 on their social media accounts and announced that it will be available for sale starting 23rd June in India via the exclusive partner Amazon India. Previously, all the Motorola devices were exclusive to Flipkart and few months back, the company also announced that the Motorola device will also be available through local retailers as well.
