Huawei, the owner of Honor brand, is expected to announce the new flagship device Honor 8 soon and the rumors indicates that the Honor 8 smartphone will be launched on July 5th in China and then the global launch details will be available.
The device will be available in three storage options and the 32GB inbuilt storage variant will be priced around $304 and the high-end variant having 128GB of inbuilt storage will cost around $425. Nothing have been confirmed yet from the company officially, so wait for more rumors or the official announcement. The Honor 8 device is rumored to have high-end specifications with Huawei’s own Kirin 955 processor along with 4GB of RAM. Let’s checkout all of the specifications of the device.
The Huawei Honor 8 will have a 5.2-inch Full HD display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution or Quad HD 2.5D curved glass display with 2560 × 1440 pixels resolution. It will be powered by an octa-core Kirin 955 (4x 2.5GHz A72, A53 4 x 1.8 GHz) processor with Mali T880-MP4 GPU and will have 4GB of RAM with 32GB / 64GB / 128GB inbuilt storage options with expandable storage up to 128GB with microSD card.
It will run on the Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) OS out of the box with EMUI 4.1 on top. It will support Dual-SIM and will feature a 12-megapixel dual rear cameras with dual-tone LED flash and an 8MP front-facing camera. There will be a 3200mAh battery with fast charging feature enabled and connectivity options will include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC and USB Type-C. It will also feature a fingerprint sensor and it will measure 157.00×77.60×7.75 mm with 170 gram weight.
