Gionee has dominated most of the smartphones markets around the world including the home market of China and India. The company launched a number of new smartphones last year with affordable price tags and today, the company announced a new smartphone in China with name Gionee F5 that was previously spotted approved by the Chinese TENAA leaking its specifications and images in the full glory. The device is listed on official website of Gionee with all the specs and images.
Gionee F5 is priced at 1799 yuan (around $260) and will be available with Gold and Rose Gold color options. It comes with a full metal unibody design and features a 5.3-inch HD 2.5D curved glass IPS display with 1280 × 720 pixels resolution and is powered by the 1.5 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6750 64-bit processor with Mali T860 GPU. It has 4GB of RAM with 32GB internal storage that is further expandable via MicroSD card up to 128GB. It runs on the Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) OS with Amigo OS 3.2 and supports hybrid Dual SIMs.
It features a 13-megapixel auto focus camera with LED flash and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. It is backed up by a 4000mAh battery and comes with 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, 3.5mm audio jack and GPS connectivity options along with FM Radio support. It also supports a fingerprint sensor on the physical home button on front panel and it measures 150×74.5×7.7mm with weight 162 grams.
