Xiaomi is all set to launch its new smartphone in the “Redmi Note” series and the successor to the Redmi Note 4 smartphone called Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X. The company has started sending the official invites for the device launch that is set for February 14th in China on Valentine’s Day. According to the rumors the Redmi Note 4X is expected to launch with 1299 yuan (around $189) price tag in the home country. The device was previously spotted in a leaked image showing the about area of the device with key features.
The Redmi Note 4X is expected to launch with 5.5-inch Full HD 2.5D curved glass display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, up to 72% NTSC color gamut and 1000:1 contrast ratio. it will be powered by the octa core Snapdragon 653 processor (Quad 1.95GHz ARM Cortex A72 + Quad 1.44GHz A53 CPUs) with Adreno 510 GPU. It is expected to feature 4GB of RAM along with 32GB / 64GB internal storage and microSD card expandable storage slot. It will run on MIUI 8.1 based on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) and will support hybrid Dual SIMs.
It will feature a 16-megapixel rear camera with PDAF, dual-tone LED Flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture and 85-degree wide-angle lens. It will be backed up by a 4000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 feature. Connectivity options includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS. It will have a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel and an infrared sensor as well. It will measure 151x76x8.35mm and will weight 175 grams.
