Finally, Nokia has launched three Android based smartphones in Nokia X series which are Nokia X, Nokia X+ and Nokia XL. Nokia X, which was rumored as Nokia Normandy, finally got this Nokia X name.
These 3 smartphones will use Nokia X platform which is based on Google’s Android Open Source project (AOSP). However, the Android OS used by these three smartphones will be a forked version of android. Users will experience the tastes of Android, Nokia Asha and Windows phone together in these smartphones. But there will be no access to Google’s Play Store. Users can use Android Apps from third party source.
Nokia X is priced at EUR 89, Nokia X+ EUR 99 and Nokia XL is priced at EUR 109 and will go for sale soon in Asia including India, Europe, Latin America, Africa respectively.
Nokia X is a Dual Sim smartphone comes with 4 inch display with 480×800 pixel display. It is powered by a 1GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor. It has 4GB internal storage and 32 GB expandable storage. It has 1500mAh battery capacity. There is a 3MP camera available in this phone.
Nokia X+ have all similar features like Nokia X, only difference is of RAM. Nokia X has 512MB RAM but Nokia X+ comes with 768MB RAM.
Nokia XL, on the other hand, comes with a 5 inch display and 480×800 pixel display. It has 5 mp rear camera and a front camera, 768 MB RAM and 2000mAh battery. It has 4 GB internal storage and 32 GB expandable storage. It is also powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon dual-core processor.
