Samsung Galaxy S5 Launching On April 11 In 150 Countries Including India With Exciting Features

Finally, Samsung has announced the launch date of its much awaited and anticipated smartphone Galaxy S5 today in MWC 2014 at Barcelona. The price details have not been revealed by the company. Samsung will launch Galaxy S5 on April 11 in 150 countries including India.

Galaxy S5 is filled with lots of exciting features like fingerprint scanner on home button, Water and dust resistant, built-in hear rate monitor, 16MP camera with heart rate sensor, latest Android 4.4.2 Kitkat OS and many more.

Samsung Galaxy S5 will have a 5.1 inch Super AMOLED display with resolution of 1080×1920 pixels. It is powered by a 2.5 GHz quad-core processor.

It will have 2GB RAM available and it will be available in two storage variants 16GB and 32GB with expandable storage up to 64GB via microSD card. Galaxy s5 will be compatible with Samsung Gear Fit.

It will run on latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS. There will be a 16 MP rear camera available HDR video, fastest auto-focus speed up to 0.3 seconds, slow-motion video recording, Lytro-like re-focus, hybrid auto-focus and many more other features. There is a 2.1 MP front facing camera also available.

There will be a 2800mAh battery available with 21 hours of talktime and 390 hours of standby time. Connectivity features available will be Wi-Fi, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, USB 3.0 etc. Its weight will be only 145 grams.

Samsung Galaxy S5 will be available in four color variants: Charcoal Black, Electric Blue, Shimmery White and Copper Gold. Additinally, there will be some security features available as well to keep the  data safe. You can download and install apps from Play store and there are some pre installed apps also available.
