AmanAt IFA 2015, Sony launches three smartphones that were already rumored by Sony Georgia Facebook page recently. Sony launches Sony Xperia Z5, Xperia Z5 Compact and world’s first 4k smartphone, the Xperia Z5 Premium. All three phones runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box with support for LTE (4G) and LTE 4G Cat 6. All three are IP65 and IP68 certified.
Sony Xperia Z5 comes with features like 5.2 inch FHD Triluminos display and 1920×1080 pixel resolution, 23 MP Sony Exmor rear sensor with Pulse LED Flash, 5 MP front camera, a 64-bit Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 (MSM8994) processor with Adreno 430 GPU, 2900 mAh battery, 3 GB RAM, Up to 32 GB inbuilt storage and 200 GB microSD card storage and connectivity options like DLNA Certified, WiFi, NFC, aGPS, Bluetooth 4.1 etc.
Sony Xperia Z5 Compact comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 (MSM8994) 64 bit Octa Core processor with Adreno 430 GPU, IP65 and IP68 certified, 23 MP rear and 5 MP front camera, 2 GB RAM, 32 GB inbuilt and 200 GB expandable storage, 4.6 inch HD 720p Triluminos display and 2700 mAh battery.
Xperia Z5 Premium, the world’s first 4K display phone, comes with similar features like Xperia Z5 with addition of upgraded 3430 mAh battery and a 5.5 inch 4K UHD (3840×2160) Triluminos display. Sony has said that Sony Xperia Z5 Premium will be launched in November and Xperia Z5 and Z5 Compact will be launched globally starting in October. The pricing details will be revealed upon release.
Out of three, Xperia Z5 and Xperia Z5 premium comes with Dual SIM varaints called the Xperia Z5 Dual and Xperia Z5 premium Dual. Xperia Z5 premium will be available in Chrome, Black and Gold color variants and Xperia Z5 and Z5 compact will be available in Graphite Black, White, Yellow and Coral colors options.
