HTC has now sent out invites for an event again called the “Double Exposure” event that will be held at New Delhi on Friday, October 18. HTC is expected to launch the new HTC Desire Eye and HTC RE camera at this event. Both these were already launched globally at Double Exposure event in New York last week.
HTC Desire Eye is a selfie focused Camera smartphone that comes with 13 MP rear and 13 MP front HD cameras with dual LED flash on both cameras and both can record HD 1080p videos.
HTC Desire Eye comes with 5.2-inch full-HD LCD display, Android 4.4 Kitkat OS, Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 2 GB RAM, 16GB inbuilt storage and expandable microSD storage up to 128 GB, 2400mAh Li-Po battery, front stereo HTC Boomsound speakers etc.
The HTC RE camera was also introduced at New York event which comes with 16 MP camera sensor with 146 degree ultra-wide angle sensor. It can also record 1080p full HD videos. It also comes with IPX7 certification that confirms that its a waterproof camera.
It features a 820mAh battery that is enough for 1 hr 50 mins of continuous FHD video recording and comes with 32 MB storage and 256MB of DDR RAM. HTC RE can be connected to Android 4.3 and above and iOS 7 and above running devices.
RE camera comes with connectivity options such as Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, 5-pin micro-USB, MicroSD Card Slot, Tripod Hole. It weights only 66.5 grams. HTC RE camera is currently available at official RE camera website for $199.99. Its available in two color variants Orange and White.
