HTC’s Vice President of Product Management, Mo Versi, have confirmed that HTC One M8 And HTC One M7 Android Lollipop update have been delayed. He posted in HTC post about this delay.
It is indeed a bad news for all the users expecting Android Lollipop Update on their HTC One M8 And HTC One M7 devices around the world.
Versi wrote that HTC have delayed the update and haven’t met their 90 day goal to provide this update to the users. On 3rd November last year, HTC confirmed that Android Lollipop update will be rolled out within next 90 days to the HTC One M7 and One M8 devices.
Moreover, Versi haven’t posted any time frame that when Android 5.0 Lollipop update will be rolled out to the One M7 and M8.
“We are continuing to push hard to deliver Lollipop to all devices as near the 90-day mark as possible, but we are taking every precaution to ensure the rollout is right and we aren’t willing to compromise at your expense. As of today, we’ve rolled out to Google Play, Unlocked, and Developer Editions of the HTC One (M8). We’re still working through the testing process with our partners and hope to have good news to share soon.” he wrote.
