David SmithOppo has now put the new Oppo R5 smartphone for pre-orders in the UK via Amazon UK website. It is available for £296.99 and will start shipping from 20th February onwards.
Amazon has also launched an offer in which if the customers pre-order an Oppo R5 smartphone before 11:59pm GMT on 19 February 2015 he will be applicable for receiving a flash charge power bank for free when your phone ships.
Oppo claims that Oppo R5 is the world thinnest smartphone at 4.85mm only. It comes with a 5.2 inches Full HD AMOLED display and 1920×1080 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 Octa-Core processor with Adreno 405 GPU. There is 2GB of RAM available with 16GB of internal storage and no expandable storage.
Oppo R5 runs on Android KitKat 4.4.4 out of the box with ColorOS 2.0 and Connectivity options includes 4G FDD-LTE, 3G etc. It weights only 155 gms.
Oppo R5 comes with a 13-megapixel Sony Exmor IMX214 BSI sensor rear camera with a 5-megapixel front-facing 83 degree wide angle lens camera. It has a 2000mAh battery that comes with VOOC Rapid Charging feature that helps charging the battery up to 75% in just 30 minutes.
Oppo R5 is available in India for Rs. 29,990 via Flipkart.
