David SmithLava has launched a new smartphone in the Iris seies called Lava Iris X8 for Indian market for Rs 8,999. The smartphone was listed on eCommerce website Flipkart with pricing details and was removed later from the eCommerce website and now its has been listed on official website with price and specifications.
Lava was teasing the Lava Iris X8 on their website previously and now the listing is live on their website. It comes with 5.0 inch Full HD IPS Display with Asahi Glass Protection and 720 x 1280 pixels resolution.
Dual SIM Iris X8 runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and is upgradable to Android 5.0 Lollipop OS. Its powered by a 1.4 GHz Octa Core ARM Cortex-A7 Processor.
There is 2 GB RAM available with 16GB internal and microSD expandable storage up to 32GB. It comes with 8 MP BSI-3 rear dual flash camera with a 3MP front camera. Other camera features includes QR Code Scanner, Face Detection, Facebook Upload, HDR, Panorama Mode, Face Beauty Mode, Live Photo Mode etc.
Lava Iris X8 will be available in Black and White color variants and weights only 160gms. There is a 2500 mAh Li-Pol battery availably that can deliver up to 9 hours 40 minutes of talk time and 291 hours of standby time on 3G network. Connectivity features it includes are GPS, GPRS, EDGE, 3G, Wifi, USB, Bluetooth 4.0, OTG etc.
