Sony’s next flagship Xperia Z4 is yet to be announced by the company and the rumours for the release date and specifications are getting high day by day.
Sony did not show up any new mobile phone neither in the CES show in January or Mobile World Congress in early March. There are many speculations that Sony intends to host a launch event, or the company is waiting for the IFA trade show in September. An e-mail from the vast Sony leak revealed that the company seems to be planning the launch it in May, with a second launch in November, which could be an Xperia Z4 Compact, which also has been rumored.
The design and appearance
Sony Xperia Z3 had a design that was very similar to its predecessors with the same square shape. Probably will Xperia Z4 get a similar look and design but with the difference that the screen will most likely be larger.
The technical specifications of Xperia Z4
From the information leaked thus far will the Xperia Z4 will come equipped with a 5.5 inch Quad HD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The processor is expected to be 64-bit processor Snapdragon 810 with eight cores with a clock speed of 2.8 gigahertz. Working memory is said to be at full four GB along with an Adreno 430 graphics processor, which together makes for awesome performance. The operating system is likely to be Android 5.0 Lollipop. The built-in storage space will reportedly be upgraded to 32 GB, doubling from Xperia Z3 which has 16 GB. It is also possible that Sony won’t add a microSD card slot and it will be possible to buy the phone with 64 or 128 GB variants.
