AmanThe upcoming Windows 10 mobile flagships Lumia 940 and 940 XL from Microsoft will be costlier than Samsung Galaxy S6 and even than iPhone 6, if we believe the rumors currently heating up in the smartphone industry. But it will be good for customers as more cost will result in more features in these phones.
Both phones will be polycarbonate build thus one thinks that the phones will be cheaper but MyWindows suggests that both Lumia devices will cost more than Galaxy S6 and iPhone 6. Lumia 940 Xl will be priced at $699 and Lumia 940 will be priced at 5699 according to them. Both will have Iris Scanners.
If we talk about specifications, Lumia 940 will have 5.2 inch full HD display with 1920 × 1080 pixels resolution and will be powered by a Snapdragon 808 processor with hexagon CPU and the Adreno 418 GPU. It will have 3GB RAM, 32GB inbuilt storage, SD Card slot, 20 megapixel PureView rear camera and 5 megapixel front camera. Rear camera will have Triple LED flash to take high quality low light images.
Lumia 940 XL, on the other hand, will have a large 5.7 inch Quad HD display with 2560 × 1440 pixels resolution. It will be powered by a 64-bit Snapdragon 810 chipset octa-core CPU and the Adreno 430 GPU. Other specifications includes 3GB RAM, 32GB inbuilt storage with expandable storage slot, 20 megapixel PureView rear Triple flash camera and 5 MP front camera.
