JohnSamsung has sent out invites for its event “Unveiling of the latest stars in the Galaxy series” to be held on July 16 in New Delhi starting at 11:45 IST. Samsung is expected to launch Galaxy J7 And Galaxy J5 smartphones in this event. FoneArena confirmed the launch event here.
Galaxy J7 And Galaxy J5 were launched in China last month. The invites sent by Samsung comes in a phone display which is similar to j Series phones of Samsung. Samsung also posted teaser image on Facebook account with title “Unparalleled thrill. Unmatched action. Coming your way.” and an image with text “Gear Up”.
Samsung Galaxy J5 comes with a 5-inch HD IPS display with 1280×720 pixels resolution and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core 64-bit Snapdragon 410 processor alongside Adreno 306 GPU with 1.5GB RAM and 16GB internal memory that can be further expanded up to 64GB with microSD. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box and features a 13MP rear LED flash camera with a 5MP front LED flash camera. It supports Dual SIM and 2600mAh battery with connectivity options such as 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS etc.
Samsung Galaxy J7 comes with 5.5-inch HD IPS display with 1280×720 pixels resolution and is powered by an Octa-Core (1.4GHz + 1GHz) Snapdragon 615 processor alongside Adreno 405 GPU. It has 1.5GB RAM and 16GB internal memory expandable up to 128GB with microSD.
Other specifications includes Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, 13MP rear and 5 MP front cameras with LED flash on both cameras, 3000mAh battery, 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS connectivity options with Dual SIM support.
