Sony Xperia Z5, Xperia Z5 Compact And Xperia Z5 Premium Launched At IFA 2015

After Acer, now its the time to get hands on the Xpera Z5 series smartphones at Berlin. After getting lots of rumors, Sony finally launches all the three Xperia Z5 series smartphones. Recenltly, Sony Georgia posted about these three devices on their Facebook page and that news now seems to be true as Sony has launched Sony Xperia Z5, Xperia Z5 Compact And Xperia Z5 Premium at IFA 2015 event today.

All phones runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and support LTE (4G) and LTE 4G Cat 6 connectivity. Xperia Z5 and Z5 compact will be available in Graphite Black, White, Yellow and Coral color variants. and Xperia Z5 premium will be available in Chrome, Black and Gold color variants.

Out of these, Sony has launched world’s first 4K screen smartphone Xperia Z5 Premium in the premium smartphones category. Sony Xperia Z5 comes with a Dual variant called the Sony Xperia Z5 Dual. The features includes 5.2 inch FHD 1080p Triluminos display with 1920×1080 pixel resolution. It is powered by a 64-bit Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 (MSM8994) processor with Adreno 430 GPU.

Other features available are 2900 mAh battery, 3 GB RAM, Up to 32 GB inbuilt storage and 200 GB microSD card storage, 23 MP Sony Exmor rear sensor with Pulse LED Flash, 5 MP front camera, connectivity options: aGPS, Bluetooth 4.1, DLNA Certified, WiFi, NFC and Fingerprint sensor. Xperia Z5 is Waterproof and dust tight  means IP65 and IP68 certified.

Xperia Z5 Compact comes with 2 GB RAM, 32 GB inbuilt and 200 GB expandable storage, 4.6 inch HD 720p Triluminos display, 2700 mAh battery, Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 (MSM8994) 64 bit Octa Core processor with Adreno 430 GPU, IP65 and IP68 certified, 23 MP rear and 5 MP front camera etc.

Xperia Z5 Premium and Xperia Z5 Premium DUAL have similar specs but DUAL variant comes with Dual SIM support. Other specifications are same as Xperia Z5 with upgrade 3430 mAh battery, 5.5 inch 4K UHD (3840×2160) 806 PPI Triluminos display.

Sony Xperia Z5 Premium will launch globally in November whereas Xperia Z5 and Z5 Compact will be launched globally starting in October. Pricing details will be revealed upon launch. A range of stylish and protective Style Window cases will be available for each Xperia Z5 series model at launch.
