Samsung’s upcoming flagship Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge has just been spotted on AnTuTu Benchmark database revealing the detailed specifications of the device. Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S7 series smartphones this year, may be in next 1-2 months in MWC event. The Galaxy S7 Edge device is listed in the AnTuTu bench-marking database with model name SM-G935A. AnTuTu posted the detailed specs sheet on its weibo account.
The AnTuTu test results reveals that the Galaxy S7 Edge comes with the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC that also comes with Adreno 530 GPU for graphics paired with 4GB of RAM. It has 64GB of inbuilt storage capacity and it runs on runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box. It features a 5.1-inch display with 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution. It comes with a 12-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front facing camera. Previous, rumors have claimed that Galaxy S7 will have a 20-megapixel camera having the Samsung’s brand new ISOCELL sensor, which has now proved to be wrong.
According to previous rumors, Galaxy S7 Edge comes with either Snapdragon 820 or Samsung’s own Exynos 8890 octa-core processor along with 14-core of Mali T880. It has a 5.1-inch display and will have 32 GB and 64 GB inbuilt storage variants with up to 128 GB expandable storage. It will have a 16 MP rear camera and 5 MP front camera. It will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with TouchWiz UI. The Galaxy S7 was rumored to have price tag between $460 to $650.
Samsung is expected to launch the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge along with Samsung Galaxy S7 in the MWC. So we have to wait until then for more details about these Samsung devices. Stay tuned for more updates.
