Oppo has launched the recently announced camera-centric OPPO F1 smartphone today for the Vietnamese market. Oppo will also launch the Oppo F1 smartphone in India on January 28 for whom the company has already started sending the invites.
The Oppo F1 specifications looks similar to Oppo A53 that was launched in China last month. The main feature of the Oppo F1 is its front facing 8-megapixel camera that comes with f/2.0 aperture, 1/4-inch sensor. The camera also comes with selfie apps like Beautify 3.0, 8 live color filters and an option to use the screen as a flash for better low light images.
Let’s checkout all the features of the Oppo F1 smartphone that comes with a 5-inch HD IPS display having a pixel resolution of 1280 x 720 with 2.5D Gorilla Glass 4 protection. It is powered by a 64-bit Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 ( 4 x 1.2 GHz Cortex A53 + 4 x 1.5 GHz Cortex A53) processor with Adreno 405 GPU paired with 3GB of RAM. It comes with 16GB of internal storage capacity that is further expandable up to 128GB with the help of microSD card.
It supports Dual SIM and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with Color OS 2.1 UI on top. It features a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash, f/2.2 aperture and 1080p video recording. The front facing camera is of 8-megapixel and we have already discussed its features above. It comes with a 2500mAh battery and connectivity options available in this handset are 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS etc. It measures 143.5 x 71 x 7.25mm and weights 134g.
Oppo F1 is available in Gold color options and is priced at 6,490,000 Vietnamese Dongs (around $290) in Vietnam and will start shipping on 21st January. The device is also launching on January 28 in India where the company is also expected to announce its availability details for more markets.
