Huawei has officially launched another new device called HUAWEI G Power that comes with a bigger battery and is perfect for the big battery smartphone lovers in Nigeria. It has the similar specs like the Huawei Y6 Pro that was spotted listed on official website in February with full specs details. Huawei has partnered with the Nigeria’s e-commerce website ‘Jumia’ to provide this device and the device is currently listed on the official Jumia website with images and specifications of the device.
Most of the Nigerian smartphone makers won’t have bigger batteries which makes this new device more useful for this market. The company is yet to reveal the pricing details of this device. The HUAWEI G Power comes with a 5-inch HD IPS display with 720×1280 pixel resolution and is powered by a 1.3GHz 64-bit quad-core MediaTek MT6735P processor with 2GB of RAM. It comes with 16GB of inbuilt storage capacity with no details of its expandable storage capacity.It runs on the Android 5.1 Lollipop OS based Emotion UI 3.1 Lite OS out of the box.
Huawei G Power features a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera sensor. It supports Dual-SIM connectivity and comes with LTE UE Category 4 networks support. It comes with connectivity options like Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi IEEE 802.11 b / g / n (2.4GHz), 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi hotspot, Wi-Fi direct and GPS/AGPS. It has a large 4000mAh battery as we discussed earlier above. It will be available in Gold, White and Gray color options. The Huawei Y6 Pro was announced for Pakistan market and we can now expect that Huawei will announce it soon for other markets as well.
