To be sure, smart phone is just like an ordinary mobile phone with a camera, MP3 player and hordes of portable game consoles. However, this is where the similarity ends. In reality, owning a smart phone is like owning a small PC in your palm.   Know that:

1. Just as any modern mobile phone, a Samsung Galaxy S II allows the user to make and receive call, play music, take photographs, play games etc.

2. It also allows the users to send or receive emails and access internet from anywhere.

3. Its unique operating system enables the users to operate various types of apps. They come in all categories such as business, entertainment, gaming and even cooking. Some of these apps come free while others are generally bought; but if the users know how to use them, they can derive immense benefit from them.

4.Such a phone has a larger storage capacity than ordinary mobile phones and can stores a large volume of files and data.

Therefore, we see that Galaxy S II is actually a multi-use device with immense possibility. Its uses Google’s Android as its mobile operating system and hence operating the phone is very easy and smooth. The touch-screen mechanism too is a great help for speedy operation. However, it is not the first smart phone produced by this electronic giant. It was preceded by Samsung Galaxy S, which came into the market as early as June 2010.  So far twenty million of Galaxy S has already been sold; such is its popularity.

It is a fact that Samsung Galaxy S II was introduced in the market, not only for commercial reasons, but also to offer much improved services to their customers. Although it retains all the basic features of Galaxy S, one does not need to be a technical person to realize that it is actually improvement on its predecessor. In fact, if anybody is looking for a business oriented phone at a competitive price, he/she should pick up a Galaxy S II. Its dual core 1.2 GHz processor, slim yet sturdy chassis and feather-light innards makes it very attractive buy.

Indeed, Samsung Galaxy S II is only 116 gm in weight and 8.49 mm or 0.33 inches thickness. Consequently, it is much easier to carry around in the hand. It is true, that the phone is slightly thicker at the bottom where the loud speaker is installed and also around the camera compartment, but even there, the thickness does not cause any kind of hindrance for the user. In fact, taking into consideration all the unique features that have been packed into the handset, its slim body does make one marvel at the feat of technology.

As has been pointed out that in spite of the slim chassis, Galaxy S II is quite sturdy and with care it is going to last long. However, the con side is that, the phone is not meant for those who are in building profession.  There is actually a tiny gap between the frame and the screen and this may attract dust. Another point is that unlike many other smart phones in the market, it is made up of unbreakable plastic rather than something more robust such as aluminum. Consequently, it needs a little more care than most other smart phones.   However, few Samsung Galaxy S II users complain about that.
