Oppo has launched the Oppo F1 Plus smartphone for select markets from today onwards. The device will be available in UK for £299, in India for INR 26990 (around $400) and in Europe for €389. The company has also said that they don’t have any plans currently to sell it in United States. Oppo F1 plus is the global variant of the Oppo R9 that is available in China only. The smartphone comes with a fingerprint sensor embedded on the home button that can unlock the device in just 0.2 seconds. The Oppo F1 Plus also comes with a 6063 aluminium alloy body.
Oppo F1 Plus comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED display with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution and is powered by the octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 (MT6755) processor with 4 cores clocked at 2.0 GHz and 4 cores at 1.0 GHz. A 700MHz Mali T860MP2 GPU is also available for better graphics. It comes with 4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB internal storage options with expandable storage up to 128GB with microSD card. It supports Dual SIM and comes with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop based ColorOS 3.0.
It features a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, 5P lens, LED Flash, 80.6-degree wide-angle lens and 4K video recording. A 16-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture and 78.1-degree wide-angle lens is also on board. It is backed up by a 2850mAh battery with VOOC flash charge and connectivity options includes 4G LTE with VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It measures 151.8×74.3×6.6mm and weights 145 grams.
