We already know that Motorola, Lenovo subsidiary, is going to announce new smartphones in its May 17 event in India. The company is expected announce the 4th generation of the Moto G also rumored as Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus. both the devices got leaked in past in renders, video and leaked images. The 4th gen Moto G is now found imported to India carrying the model number XT1643 and price tag of $164 from China.
The Zauba listing (via Motorola Moto) indicates that the Moto G 4th gen will be available in two color options Black and White and will have the 32GB internal storage option. The device carries the price tag of INR 10881 (around $164) in the Zauba listing and 30 units of each Black Moto G 4th gen and the White variant got imported to India for internal testing and evaluation. No other details were listed on the import/export website.
A German website has also shared the rumored specs of both the Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus and claims that the most of the specs of both devices were listed on the Zauba. The Moto G4 or Moto G (4th Gen) is expected to have a 5.5-inch full HD display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and Corning Gorilla glass protection. Under the hood, it is powered by the 1.2GHz Octa-Core 64-bit Snapdragon 430 (MSM8937) processor that comes with Adreno 505 GPU and 2GB of RAM. It comes with 16GB of internal storage and will also carries microSD card slot for expandable storage option.
The Moto G4 will run on the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS out of the box with Dual SIM support and will feature a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, Laser AF and 1080p video recording with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera having the OmniVision OV5693 sensor. It will be backed up by a 3000mAh battery. The connectivity options includes 4G LTE / 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and NFC. This device will be water resistant and will have a 3.5mm audio jack with FM Radio support.
On the other hand, the Moto G4 Plus will have almost similar specifications like the Moto G4 with some changes like upgraded 3GB of RAM, 16-megapixel rear camera instead of 13-megapixel and will have a fingerprint scanner as well. Other features of the Moto G4 Plus will be same as Moto G4.
