Gionee is holding an event on June 13 where the company is going to launch its new device Gionee S6 Pro that is rumored to have the model name Gionee GN9012, but that looks like a wrong prediction as the Gionee GN9012 is listed with the name Gionee Elife S8 Lite on GFXBench confirming that its the Elife S8 lite and not the S6 pro. The latest teaser issued by the company hints towards the launch of the Gionee S6 Pro not the Elife S8 Lite, so it may be launched later.
The Gionee Elife S8 Lite is listed on GFXBench with a 4.6-inch display that may be wrong as its listed with 5.5-inch screen size on TENAA. It has 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution and is powered by the octa-core 1.8GHz MediaTek MT6755M (Cortex A53 – ARMv8) processor with ARM Mali-T860 GPU and 4GB of RAM. It comes with 64GB of inbuilt storage capacity and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box.
It features a 13-megapixel rear LED flash camera and a front facing 8-megapixel camera. This smartphone comes with standard connectivity options including WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and other. No other details about the device were listed in the GFXBench database listing. Other details were outed by the TENAA listing of the Gionee GN9012.
The TENAA listing for the Gionee GN9012 confirms a a 5.5-inch IPS Full HD display with 1920 × 1080 pixel resolution and is powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core processor might be the MediaTek Helio P10 again. It comes with 4GB of RAM and 32GB inbuilt storage capacity with up to 128GB MicroSD card expandable storage capacity. It runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box.
It features an 8-megapixel or 13-megapixel rear LED flash camera with a 5-megapixel front facing camera. It is powered by a 3130mAh battery that is similar to the Gionee S8. It comes with connectivity options like 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, USB, Bluetooth, GPS and FM Radio support. It measures 153 × 75.3 × 7.6 mm and weights 150 grams. It comes with Golden color option.
