Huawei has recently started teasing its new flagship device Huawei Honor 8 device on their social media accounts and it is expected to launch on July 5th as per the rumors. The device is now spotted at TENAA with 4 model numbers having similar specifications with minor differences. These model numbers includes FRD-TL00, FRD-DL00, FRD-AL00 and FRD-AL10. The FRD-TL00 comes with the China mobile logo on the rear side while others doesn’t have the logo, that confirms that this device will be launched with China telecom carrier in China.
All the model numbers have similar specifications and we are posting the specifications of all the model numbers merging the common specs in these four. The TENAA listings confirms that the Huawei Honor 8 will have a 5.2-inch Full HD display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and is powered by a 2.3GHz octa-core Kirin 955 (4x 2.5GHz A72, A53 4 x 1.8 GHz) processor with Mali T880-MP4 GPU.It runs on the Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) OS with EMUI 4.1 on top.
The Honor FRD-TL00 and Honor FRD-DL00 are listed with 3GB RAM + 32GB inbuilt storage, the Honor FRD-AL00 and Honor FRD-AL10 are listed with 4GB RAM + 32GB inbuilt storage and 4GB + 64GB inbuilt storage options, respectively. It is also expected to support Dual SIM and will feature a 12-megapixel dual rear cameras with dual-tone LED flash and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera as well.
It will have a 2900mAh battery with fast charging feature and connectivity options that are expected will be 4G LTE, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC and USB Type-C. It also comes with a Fingerprint sensor available on the back. It measures 145.5×71.0×7.45 mm and weights 153 grams. It is listed in White color options on all the four listings.
