Huawei has now officially announced that it will announce the Honor 8 device on July 11 in China. The company is now teasing the device with the official event date in a new teaser posted on the weibo account of the company. The Honor 8 has already received the TENAA certification yesterday revealing all of the specifications and the images of the device. The device was spotted with four model numbers on TENAA with different specifications.
It was spotted with a 5.2-inch Full HD display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and is powered by a 2.3GHz octa-core Kirin 955 (4x 2.5GHz A72, A53 4 x 1.8 GHz) processor with Mali T880-MP4 GPU. It runs on the Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) OS with EMUI 4.1 on top. It comes with 3GB RAM + 32GB inbuilt storage and 4GB RAM + 32GB / 64GB inbuilt storage options. It is also expected to support Dual SIM option.
It will feature a 12-megapixel dual rear cameras with dual-tone LED flash and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera as well. There will be a 2900mAh battery with fast charging feature and connectivity options that are expected will be 4G LTE, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC and USB Type-C. It also comes with a Fingerprint sensor available on the back. It measures 145.5×71.0×7.45 mm and weights 153 grams. It is listed in White color option on all the four listings.
